Rajasthan PTET Exam Pattern 2017 Exam Details

The PTET (Pre Teachers Eligibility Test) is conducted for the eligibility required for the selection of candidates in the Bachelor of Education course in different government and government-aided colleges in Rajasthan. The candidates who appear and qualify in the PTET Exam will be provided for the final allotment of colleges through an online counseling held subsequently after the declaration of the results of the entrance exam. The candidates who are eligible and interested to appear in the PTET Exam can go through the details of the exam including the pattern of the exam from the information as given below.

शिक्षक बनने के इच्छुक विद्यार्थी शनिवार से पीटीईटी और चार वर्षीय बीए एवं बीएससी बीएड प्रवेश परीक्षा-2017 के ऑनलाइन फार्म भर सकेंगे। विद्यार्थी 25 फरवरी तक परीक्षा शुल्क और 27 फरवरी तक ऑनलाइन फार्म भरेंगे। महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती विश्वविद्याल 14 मई को परीक्षा कराएगा।

परीक्षा समन्वयक प्रो. बी. पी. सारस्वत ने बताया कि प्री. टीचर एज्यूकेशन टेस्ट, चार वर्षीय बीए-बीएड एवं बीएससी बीएड के ऑनलाइन फार्म शनिवार से वेबसाइट पर भरे जा सकेंगे ऑनलाइन फार्म भरने की प्रक्रिया 27 फरवरी तक चलेगी।

Paper Pattern of PTET (Pre Teachers Eligibility Test):

There will be a written test conducted based on the objective type and multiple choice based questions. The Question Paper consists of 200 questions of 600 Marks on the following main sections:

1. Mental Ability (Imagination, Reasoning, Generalization, Decision Making, Inferences & Creative Thinking)

2. Teachning Aptitude (Leadership, Interpersonal Relations, Social Maturity, Communications, Professional Commitment, Awareness)

3. Language Proficiency (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Sentence Structures)

4. General Awareness (Indian Culture, National & International Current Affairs, Renowned Personalities, Rajasthan Culture & History, Environmental Awareness, India and Natural Resources)

Each section contains 50 questions on the above four sections. The candidates will have to qualify in all the sections of the paper to finally clear the exam. The minimum percentage of marks required in aggregate for clearing the PTET is 40% i.e. 240 Marks and enter into the merit list of the exam.

Application for PTET:
The online application for the Rajasthan Pre Teacher Eligibility Test is mostly announced in the months of July/August and the exam is conducted in September. The Online Counseling for all the short listed candidates is organized in October. The candidates can read the schedule of the counseling from the leading news papers of Rajasthan as well as the website of the PTET.
