Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has the responsibility to conduct the written exam for various posts. Recently in July month SSC was announced the SSC JE Recruitment 2015. Selection process revised:

The examination will consist of written test only (Paper-I and Paper-II). There will be no interview this time as per the revised selection process.

Paper-I Objective type

Date of Examination - 31-01-2016 (morning)

Questions will be asked from following sections:

(i) General Intelligence & Reasoning

(ii) General Awareness

(iii) Part –A

General Engineering (Civil & Structural)

Part-B

General Engineering (Electrical)

General Engineering (Mechanical)

Marks - 2 00

Time - 2 Hours

Paper-II Conventional Type (In this paper, you have to write the answer of the question asked.)

Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structural)

Part- B General Engineering (Electrical)

OR

Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)

Marks - 300

Time - 2 Hours

Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only. Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of performance in Paper –I will be called for Paper-II (Conventional Type).

Candidates are allowed to bring their own Slide–Rule, Calculator, Logarithm Tables and Steam Table for Paper-II only. They are not allowed to use such aids for Paper-I.
