UTET Eligibility Criteria:
For Class (I to V) Paper 1:
Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary or its
equivalent examination with minimum of 45 percent marks. Those appearing for
final year exam of 02 year Diploma in Elementary (D.Ed.) Education/04 year
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/02 year diploma in Special Education
are eligible to apply for this paper.
Aspirants with BA/B.Sc and B.Ed degree are also eligible to
apply.
For Class (VI to VIII) Paper 2:
Candidates with B.A/B.Sc and those appearing for final year
of its D.Ed./B.Ed exam are eligible to apply. Applicant should have passed B.A/B.Sc
exam with a minimum of 45 percent marks.
Contenders having senior Secondary with at least 50 percent
marks and passed or appearing for final four year Bachelor in Elementary
Education (B.El.Ed)/4 year B.A/B.Sc Ed/B.A (Ed)/B.Sc (Ed)/B.Ed (Special Education)
are willing to apply.

Mode of Engagement:
Applicants will get selected for the posts of Teacher in
Primary and Upper Primary schools in Uttarakhand on the basis of the
performance in the Written Exam.
