1. Kakatiya University
Kakatiya University was
established on 19th August, 1976 to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana
people for higher education. The founding of the University was in fact a historic event in the sense that heralded a new era in the realms of higher education of this region. The erstwhile Post-Graduate Centre of Osmania University was upgraded and named Kakatiya University. The development of the University over the years has been gradual but impressive. The University was initially accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002 and reaccredited with A grade in 2008.

Sri Venkateswara University
Sri Venkateswara University,
Tirupati , is established in 1954 in the world famous holy temple town of
Tirupati on the sprawling campus of 1000 acres with a panoramic and pleasant
hill view. The University stands as a testimony to the wisdom and foresight of
great visionaries Late Sri Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, the then Chief Minister
of Andhra and Late Sri Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, to cater the educational needs and
aspirations of the people of Rayalaseema area. With a great wisdom, the founder
of this University have rightly coined the motto Wisdom lies in proper
perspective for it. The University has grown excellently from strength to
strength over the past 60 years, as a premier institute of higher learning
under the able and committed leaderships of successive Vice-Chancellors
starting from Prof. S. Govindarajulu to the present Vice Chancellor Prof. W.
Rajendra. It has gone through greater strides in the transformation of the
University with acquiring necessary and modern sophisticated instrumentation to
catch up with the world competition in academic and research programmes.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth
Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, a
University established under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 is a premier
instituion in the field of higher learning in Sanskrit studies, Trditional
Sastras and Pedagogy. It is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development through University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The Vidyapeetha
has a long history in the service of Sanskrit education.

Srivenkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences , Tirupati
Sri Venkateswara Institute of
Medical Sciences, a tertiary care referral centre and a jewel in the crown of
the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati, has established itself as a
Medical University of repute with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. SVIMS hospital has acquired the state-of-art
equipment. The sophisticated medical equipment installed in SVIMS will now
facilitate diagnosis and treatment of diseases faster and less cumbersome.
