GATE 2017 Admit Card | Gate Entrance Exam 2017 Admit Card and Hall Ticket

GATE 2017 - GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the All India Entrance Examination for admissions to the M.Tech, M.E courses at the IITs, NITs, other GFTIs and many private universities and institutes across the country. IISc Bangalore will be conducting GATE 2017 on January 30 & 31, 2017 as well as February 6 & 7, 2017. Candidates in their final year can also apply and appear for GATE 2017.

GATE 2017 Admit Card

The Admit Card of GATE 2017 will be available from December 29, 2017. Candidates can download the GATE 2017 Admit Card after logging in through GOAPS. They will have to print the Admit Card and carry it to the Exam hall while appearing for the GATE 2017 exam.

The GATE 2017 Admit Card must be downloaded and printed in colour from GOAPS after it is made available to the eligible candidates. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID along with their GATE 2017Admit Card – the details are given below on this page.

How To Download the GATE 2017 Admit Card

•     Candidates have to log in to GOAPS to download their Admit Card for GATE 2017
•     Candidates will have to enter their GATE 2017 Enrolment ID/Email Address and the password to download their GATE 2017 Admit Card
•     Candidates who have forgotten their Password can check the options for the same to be able to download their Admit Card

How to Apply For GATE 2017

All candidates have to apply only ONLINE.

•     Male Candidates (General/OBC) – Rs 1500/-
•     Women Candidates of any category – Rs 750/-
•     Other Candidates (General/OBC) – Rs 1500/-
•     SC / ST / PwD* Category Candidates – Rs 750/-

For GATE 2017payments would have to be made through online by selecting either using any bank Debit Card/Credit Card, Net Banking or e-challan facilities ONLY.GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS website) can be accessed from the website of the respective Zonal GATE Offices or from the website of the GATE 2017 Organizing Institute.

GATE 2017 Admit Card

The Admit Card can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites . Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post/email. Bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the Test Center along with the original and valid photo identification(NO photocopy / scanned copy/NOT expired). Please note that you have to give details of this ID proof while filling the online application. Candidates will NOT be permitted to take the test, if this original and valid photo identification is not presented.

GATE 2017 Exam Pattern

The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions.In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks are in General Aptitude (GA).
