The exam will be in a written form and only those candidates will get TET Certificate who will pass Teacher Eligibility Test with at least cut off marks. In order to participate in upcoming TET exam candidates are requested to download Himachal Pradesh TET Hall Ticket 2017. The TET qualifying certificate would remain valid for appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance of TET certificate.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is agency of Government of Himachal Pradesh entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing courses of instructions and text books and conducting examinations for secondary school students in Himachal Pradesh. It was set up in 1969 and has its headquarters in Dharmshala. At present more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board. The Board sets up 1650 examination centers for over 500,000 examiners every year.

HP TET Exam Cut Off Marks
Duration of each paper will be 2 Hours 30 minutes. Each Paper consists of 150 Questions and total marks for each paper is 150. There shall be no negative marking for every wrong answer. Cut-off marks will indicate ratio of selected candidates for further process. Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Teacher Eligibility Certificate. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / C-I, should have to secure a minimum of 55% to qualified HP TET 2017 accordance with their extent reservation policy.
