GATE Results 2017 declared: Check your score card here

Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore successfully conducted Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination from 30th January to 7th February 2016. A large number of candidates applied and appeared for the examination across various exam centers in India. Candidates who had written the exams are eagerly waiting for the results. IISc declared GATE 2016 Results on 18th March 2016. Aspirants Civil/ECE/EEE/Mech who had written the online exam can check the merit list along with cutoff marks from the direct link provided below.

How to check?

In order to check the results, the candidates should follow the steps listed below:

    Go to the official website

    Click on the link, 'GATE Results 2016'

    Enter the necessary details

On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future use.

Due to heavy traffic, the official website crashed and the candidates couldn't access the results.They are advised to wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

After the declaration of the results, candidates can download their GATE 2016 score card from the website. The score cards will be issued to:

    All SC/ST/PwD candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their papers

    All other candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying mark of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers.
