Name of the exam : Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test 2017 (PSTET)

Conducting Body : Department of School Education Punjab.

PSTET Eligibility Criteria:

Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Candidates must possess Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) / in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Or

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / Diploma in Education (Special Education) / Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Applicants must have Graduation degree or Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard / B.Ed. (Special Education) Or Senior secondary with B.El.Ed / B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Application Fees : 

The application fess for the Punjab State TET Exam 2017 is
-For the general category paper I is 600 & for both 1200.
-For the SC/ST Categories 300 and for both 600.

How to Submit PSTET Online Application Form?

·         Eligible contenders may apply online through the official site that is www.tetpunjab.com

·         Go to “New Registration and Applicant Login” which is visible at homepage.

·         Now, new candidates may register them by filling registration form and press “Proceed” button.

·         Must fill the registration form correctly and submit it by pressing “Submit” button.

·         After filling part-1 registration you will get user name and password.

·         Pay the requisite application fee through system generated Challan.

·         Upload scanned images of photograph.

·         After filling form in correct manner, press the submit button to record entire details.

·         At last, get printout of filled application form for future need.
