West Bengal (WBBSE) Class 10th Results 2017
Schools will be able to collect mark sheets and certificates
from their respective camp offices from 10.05am onwards.
The state
government took special measures in order to ensure a glitch-free exam, which
was taken by a record 11,53,432 students, in a year when West Bengal also
conducted the assembly elections.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary
Education (WBBSE) has released the results of Class 10 (Madhyamik) exams today.
The Board is likely to release Class 12 results on the official website on May
19.
Around 11.4 lakh students had sat for
the Class 10 exams, known as ‘Madhyamik’, out of which 54.59 per cent were
girls.
But only 79.62 per cent of the total
girl students could clear the exams this year compared to 86.34 per cent of
boys, WBBSE administrator Dr Kalyanmoy Ganguly said
The Madhyamik Pariksha for class 10
students was held from February 1 to 10, 2016. The Higher Secondary (HS) exam
were conducted between February 15 and February 29, 2017.
