Total Number of Vacancies: 964 Posts
Name of Posts: Medical Officer
Category wise vacancy:

  1. General: 524 Posts
  2. OBC – A: 88 Posts
  3. OBC – B: 62 Posts
  4. SC: 199 Posts
  5. ST: 82 Posts
  6. Reserved for Person with Disabilities: 27 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years as on 01-10-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of BHMS/BAMS/BUMS degree from an institute recognized by respective councils of that Stream.
Application Fee:General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- while SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee.
Application fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft through any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Payable at Service branch at Kolkata.
Selection Process:Selection of candidates will be done based on their Merit list issued by WB Health & Family Welfare Samiti.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Medical Officer post in West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samiti, they are required to apply through online mode on its official website at www.wbhealth.gov.in on or before 6th January 2014.
After filling the online application form, take print out of it and send their application in the prescribed format, DD form attested copies of photo proof identity card, certificates to prove age, caste, resident, mark sheets to the Executive Officer, WB Health & Family Welfare Samiti on or before 14th January 2104.

West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti Recruitment 2013 – 900 Multipurpose Worker Vacancies: Government of West Bengal, Department of Health & Family Welfare has posted an employment notification for the recruitment of Multipurpose Workers posts.
